45 degree hyperextension chairs have been used extensively in gyms for years. Hyperextension exercise at this angle is easier to perform than at the horizontal position of a roman chair. You benefit by being able to do more repetitions thus increasing your endurance. But if you want a more extreme level of training, look to the ST Roman Chair, one of our other extension benches.
